There are many opportunities for the ladies in our C.A.R.E. Program to learn practical life skills through special classes throughout the year. The women not only appreciate the chance to learn new skills, they also enjoy these times to just get together with others and build lasting friendships.
Our staff and many wonderful volunteers offer a variety of special classes:
Cooking classes that teach cooking
skills as well as nutrition
and shopping tips,
Beginner computer classes that
teach basic computer skills
and application,
Advanced computer classes that
introduce graphic programs
that are used to create
personal calendars, notecards,
and even a cookbook,
Craft classes that have included
designing holiday decorations,
candy making, stamping, and
card making,
Exercise classes,
And Bible studies to encourage the
ladies and give them hope for a
brighter future.
