The Sunshine Sack Program

The Sunshine Sack Program is a perfect opportunity to serve Sunshine Ministries in a very meaningful way...and it can be lots of fun! It is a simple, organized way to collect needed items for the operations and the outreach of the mission that takes all the guesswork out of giving.
We will provide your group or organization with sturdy, handled plastic bags that advertise the Sunshine Sack Program. A suggested list of items needed to fill the sack is stapled to the bag. The list is prepared according to the current needs of the mission and type of collection your group or organization would like to do.
The ideas for collections are endless, but here are few suggestions:

Toiletries
We are always in need of toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, disposable razors, and aerosol deodorant to distribute to our guests each night as they arrive to stay in our shelter.

Homeless Pack
Warm socks, gloves, combs, small Bibles and hand lotion are just a few items that we put in a special pack for our homeless guests.

Food Pantry
The food pantry shelves always need stocking with nonperishable food items such as canned meals, canned fruit and veggies, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, etc.

School Supplies
Notebooks, folders, notebook paper, and pencils are just a few of the many things we give each of our Kids Club and Teen Club members at the beginning of every school year.
